Vote Leave architect says anyone sure about Brexit ‘has got a screw loose’
The Metro says: One of the architects of Brexit has admitted he is not sure if it will be a good thing for the country – and said anyone who is has got a ‘screw loose’.
Dominic Cummings, who led the Vote Leave campaign, said that on balance he still supported the move, but added: ‘There are definitely moments where I’ve thought, “Did I do the right thing?”‘
In his first broadcast interview since leaving his role as a top government aide, he told the BBC: ‘Questions like ‘Is Brexit a good idea?’- no one on earth knows what the answer to that is.
‘I think anyone who says they are sure about questions like that has got a screw loose, whether you’re on the Remain side, or our side.
