An ex-Married at First Sight star has been somewhat humiliated after doing his best to hold onto his 15 seconds of fame by gate-crashing filming for the latest season.
Back in 2018, Nasser Sultan, 55, appeared on the fifth season of the Australian version of the series.
Matched with marketing co-ordinator and model Gabrielle Bartlett, the fitness instructor and his new wife infamously came to blows throughout their time in front of the cameras.
Even three years after leaving the show, things were still tumultuous between the pair when in 2021 she labelled him a ‘lonely little man’, while he hit back and said she ‘needs to move on’ with her life.
While Nasser has made the most of his time on the show and regularly posts sponsored content on his social media, it’s now emerged he tried his best to get back on the series, but didn’t have much luck.
In November last year cameras were rolling on the 10th season when Nasser turned up to a charity shop as couple Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook were filming for Homestay Week.

As producers and the camera crew followed the young couple, 26 and 27, throughout suburbs in Sydney, Nasser did his best to edge into the shots.
‘Nasser saw them setting up to film and followed them around Bondi, asking producers if he could do a scene with Ollie and Tahnee,’ a source told Yahoo Lifestyle!
‘The crew said no and tried to get rid of him, but he crashed it anyway and introduced himself.
‘Ollie and Tahnee totally blanked him and it was super awkward.’

Photos taken that day show Nasser standing behind them as they chatted to producers.
However, he didn’t seem too offended and posed with his hands in the air looking confused as to why he wasn’t been paid much attention.
But when it came to eventually editing the footage for the show, Nasser was nowhere to be seen at any point once the episode hit screens.
He appeared to laugh the snub off though, posting on Instagram that he ‘loved spending time with youngsters’ and tagging the official MAFS page.
Not one to let a slight roadblock stand in his way, around the same time last year Nasser was also reportedly denied entry to the ARIA Awards when his name was not found on the VIP list.
After being turned away, he was seen making angry phone calls and wandering around the venue, before eventually making it onto the red carpet.
Two years ago Nasser opened up about struggling to return to real life after becoming obsessed with fame.

‘It’s not easy, it’s not like switching a light off. I am obsessed with it – why am I caring about these people?’ he said said on Not Another Reality TV Podcast.
‘I wanted to continue to be noticed and recognised.’
He added that he wanted his name ‘to be known by everyone across Australia’.
