Demi Lovato filmed a peculiar object flying through the sky on Monday.

The 30-year-old hitmaker uploaded the image on social media and circled the object so fans could better see it before asking them whether they thought it was a UFO.

Although a little blurry, what appeared to be a disc-shaped aircraft was visible in the bright blue sky, and although Demi didn’t specify where the image was taken, the former Disney star seemed to be in a remote, desert-like location.

Across the snap, they wrote: ‘Did I just capture a UFO on camera?’

Hopefully the Pentagon will get back to Demi ASAP.

It comes after the Grammy-nominated star – who shot to fame in 2008 after starring in the Disney channel film Camp Rock – revealed she has plenty of good memories from her Disney days.

‘I have a tonne of fond memories, making friends and getting to live out my dream at a young age,’ Demi said last month.

She also touched upon her love of music, telling Numero magazine: ‘My love for music was always around.

‘My mum was a singer, so I was around music a lot and I would always sing with her and that’s how it started for me.’

Demi’s last musical release was in March when she dropped a blockbuster music video for Still Alive, which featured in Scream 6’s soundtrack.

In the video, Demi not only tackled the horror franchise’s prime antagonist, Ghostface, but also shared the screen with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda.

Rapper and singer Mike, 46, was a founding member of Linkin Park, who formed in 1996, before lead singer Chester Bennington joined in 1999.

Mike also wrote and produced the song, which many fans have likened to Linkin Park’s material during their heyday in the early-to-mid 2000s.

American heavy metal vocalist Spencer Charnas, who fronts the band Ice Nine Kills, also made an appearance in the star-studded video.
