David Walliams ‘sues Britain’s Got Talent bosses’ after expletive rant
The Metro says David Walliams is reportedly suing Britain’s Got Talent bosses, after he was axed from the programme when an expletive rant he made about a contestant was leaked.
The 52-year-old comedian and children’s author is said to be seeking ‘significant damages’ after he stepped down from the talent show in November, before being replaced by Bruno Tonioli.
Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, and Alesha Dixon returned to the programme without the Little Britain star for the most recent series, and while there had been widespread speculation over why he left the show, there has never been any official confirmation of the reason behind his exit.
Prior to the start of auditions, Walliams came under fire over leaked recordings which exposed his scathing remarks about contestants.
