Former Britain’s Got Talent judge David Walliams is now having others critique his talents as he took to the stage to test his acting chops whilst channeling Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz.
After a decade on the reality series, David, 51, left the reality talent show after coming under fire over leaked recordings which exposed his scathing remarks about contestants.
He later made a public apology in November for making ‘disrespectful comments’, which he also described as ‘private conversations that were never intended to be shared’, but added that he was ‘sorry’.
The Little Britain star is now back in the spotlight as he hit the stage in a string of showstopping outfits at the Mediterrane Film Festival Awards.
This week David dressed up as not only Dorothy, but a bumblebee as he hosted the awards ceremony.

Sporting some gold, brown and black tights, a gold sparkly cape with a fur trim and a gold crown, he clearly didn’t take himself too seriously as he appeared to fly across the stage.
He was later snapped wearing an outfit clearly inspired by Dorothy, with his look including the character’s iconic blue checked pinafore dress, as well as a pigtail wig and dash of red lipstick.
He accessorized with a wicker basket, some long blue socks and her famous red slippers.

At another point during the night it was clearly all business as he put on a smart black suit.
A six-day long celebration of film, the festival is hosted in Malta, and will also include performances from other British stars, with The X Factor’s Rebecca Ferguson set to also take to the stage during the festivities.
Earlier this year David was replaced by former Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli, who joined the BGT panel alongside Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon.
Ahead of filming beginning on the latest season of the show, Bruno explained how David got in touch to pass on his support.
‘I haven’t seen David, but he was the first person to send me a message saying congratulations,’ Bruno told Radio Times.
‘He also sent a fantastic bottle of Italian wine to my dressing room on my first day.’
He added: ‘I thought that was absolute class.’
Britain’s Got Talent is streaming on ITVX.
