Brentford star David Raya admits it’s ‘nice’ to be linked with the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea.
The Spaniard is expected to leave the Bees this summer, when he’ll have just one year left on his deal in north-west London.
Raya has rejected two proposals from Brentford to extend his contract and the club will reluctantly listen to offers for him at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old has established himself as a Spanish international since joining the Bees from Blackburn in a £3m deal in 2019.
His range of passing and ability to play out from the back has alerted the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, who are both looking for new goalkeepers.
Brentford are expected to demand in excess of £40m for Raya and the Spaniard admits he has ambitions to play in Europe.

‘Obviously it’s nice to hear that clubs are after you and asking about you and looking for you,’ Raya told the Yours, Mine, Away! podcast.
‘These clubs are the biggest in the world and every player wants to play for these clubs and everything.
‘I have a year left and I don’t know what will happen in the summer. I’ve said before that I’ve had two contracts that I’ve turned down because they weren’t the offers I was looking for.
‘I want to push myself to the highest level to the Champions League, the Europa League and to win those trophies. I want to experience that and I’m at that stage in my footballing career.’
