Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe has finally shared the sex of his first child after becoming a dad earlier this year.
The child star, 33, welcomed a baby with partner Erin Darke, 38, three months ago.
Both new parents have been fiercely protective of their baby’s identity, but Daniel has now divulged some details.
Speaking ahead of the season 4 premiere of his new series Miracle Workers, he revealed that Erin gave birth to a baby boy!
Chatting to ET’s Denny Directo, the Woman in Black star was full of excitement as he spoke about fatherhood.
He said: ‘It’s great. It’s crazy and intense, but he’s wonderful and Erin is amazing.

‘It’s a real privilege also to have this time with him.’
Daniel added that he was keen to take time off to spend the first few months in a baby bubble.
‘I was always going to take some time off, which not everyone is able to do, and so I’m able to kind of just be here with him a lot, which is lovely.’
‘So, we’re having a great time,’ he said.
Now that he’s a dad, the actor wants to prioritise family time, so he’ll be more picky with the jobs he takes on.
He said: ‘It hasn’t really yet affected things, but I really like spending time with him, and I think I’m gonna miss him when I go back to work later in the year.

‘So, I will definitely be I think a bit more selective, not more selective, I’ve always been selective, but I think I’ll probably work a little bit less for the next few years.’
Don’t worry, though, he’s not disappearing completely.
‘I’ll never be stopping. I don’t think that’s good for me either.’
This is the first time Daniel has spoken about his little arrival, after paparazzi pictures confirmed Erin had given birth after they were seen pushing a pram.
In March this year, a source close to the pair then told The Mirror: ‘They told their families and friends recently. It’s an incredibly exciting time.’

They first met while working together on Kill Your Darlings in 2012, with Daniel previously joking about what it’ll be like to tell their children in the future.
Speaking to People in 2020 about how they got together, he said: ‘It’ll be a hell of a story to tell our kids one day because of what our characters do with each other.
‘Our characters are meeting and flirting with each other, so there is this kind of sweet record of us just meeting for the first time and flirting.’
