Dame Joan Collins wasn’t very happy with Harry Styles at the 2019 Met Gala.
The 90-year-old Dynasty icon attended the sparkling event, when the As It Was hitmaker, 29, was also partying away close by.
On seeing Cher perform, Dame Joan was clearly very excited, as she described the memorable moment in her new memoir Behind the Shoulder Pads: Tales I Tell My Friends.
But Harry somewhat ruined the moment for Dame Jones, as he was said to have obstructed her view of seeing Cher perform – and didn’t stop when she asked him to.
‘The sophisticated crowd went mad for her, standing up whooping and cheering,” Dame Joan wrote, according to the New York Post.
‘Bette Midler, wearing a top hat and tailcoat in glittery black sequins, came to our table and boogied with Julianne Moore,’ Dame Joan recalled. ‘And I glimpsed Gwyneth Paltrow and Katie Holmes doing the same.’

She continued: ‘Cher left after her first number then came back wearing her original Bob Mackie-style sleek black embroidered bodysuit and a massive black curly wig to sing Believe.’
But then an incident occured, that Joan still remembers years on.
‘Harry Styles jumped on the table in front of us, obscuring our view, and took no notice of our entreaties to “get down, we can’t see,”‘ Joan wrote.
Despite this, Joan appeared to have enjoyed the evening.
‘I loved my first Met Ball, and I would certainly go again in a heartbeat,’ Joan wrote. ‘Although at $30,000 a seat, I’ll wait to be invited!’
This comes as Dame Joan opened up earlier this month about the death of her sister Jackie aged 77. The star explained how Jackie had ignored breast cancer signs before her death in 2015.

She held back tears as she said: ‘I lost my mother and I lost my sister Jackie, to breast cancer and several friends. I feel it’s just such a killer, but it [doesn’t have to] be, as Elizabeth [Hurley] said, if it’s checked in time.’
Jackie kept her stage-4 diagnosis to herself for six years, not even telling her family.
‘I remember my sister Jackie and she said to me, it was about six weeks before she died, she said, “I’ve got stage four breast cancer”,’ recalled Joan.
Also in her memoir, Dame Joan opened up about her heartbreaking abortion story, calling her experience ‘vivid and painful’.
According to MailOnline, Dame Joan wrote: ‘A long time ago I had an abortion. I was living with my then-fiancé Warren Beatty, at the time a young, unknown actor.
‘Even though I was careful, I fell pregnant.’
‘Abortion was a dirty word in the early 1960s. In fact, so was sex,’ she continued, adding: ‘So, I dried my tears, putting his ambition and my career first, and mooched about until it was time to drive to New Jersey.
‘[After the abortion] I didn’t want to think about what had happened last night. It was too vivid and too painful.’
