Now Enid Blyton is cancelled: Children’s author’s work is ‘racist, xenophobic and lacking literary merit’
The Daily Mail says prolific children’s writer Enid Blyton’s work has been linked to ‘racism and xenophobia’ by English Heritage after a review of its blue plaques following last summer’s Black Lives Matter protests.
The English children’s author has enchanted millions of young readers with tales of adventure, ginger beer and buns.
