Green list: Summer 2021 holiday blow for millions
The Daily Express says the changes to the UK’s restrictions on foreign travel means the plans of millions were “left in tatters” after the government announced Portugal would be removed from the green list.
The changes mean anyone returning from Portugal must quarantine on their return to the UK. The paper notes that no new destinations were added to the green list. Grant Shapps said the removal of Portugal from the green list is to avoid risking the 21 June lockdown easing.
