If you had ‘Cruz Beckham plays wicked guitar solo while performing The Beatles in a pub’ on your 2023 bingo card, then congrats!
The 18-year-old aspiring singer and performer revealed his guitarist aspirations in 2018, and was rumoured to be working with hit producers to kick off his career.
Earlier this year he posted a video to Instagram of himself performing The Beatles’ classic song Here Comes the Sun in front of some sun-kissed scenery.
Now he’s traded his sunny seaside stages for something that budding musicians everywhere find to be a more traditional and comfortable setting: the pub.
Proud mum Victoria Beckham, 49, watched her son follow in her musical footsteps and posted a video of Cruz performing yet another Beatles classic on Friday.
This time, however, it was Come Together, with Cruz and a friend’s band playing a stripped-back rendition of the Abbey Road song, written in 1969.
Midway through the video, Cruz is then given the task of performing a solo in front of the crowd, and they seemed impressed by his dexterous skills.
Onlookers cheered as Cruz was invited by his bandmate to ‘get a little solo going,’ before they were asked once more to ‘give it up’ for David Beckham’s son.
Victoria revealed that her second-youngest’s performance was ‘spontaneous’, while fans on her Instagram remarked that ‘talent runs in the blood’.

Even former X Factor contestants Jedward expressed their love for the video, saying they ‘loved to see it’ and shared a guitar emoji with their message.
It’s not clear from the video where the pub is located, but it’s likely that Cruz played the gig after returning home from a recent trip to Los Angeles where he visited some local music studios.
Cruz’s skills have come a long way from when he first revealed that guitar was a passion of his, covering Justin Bieber’s Love Yourself over five years ago.
‘When you sneak up and Cruz is doing his morning vocal warm up,’ Victoria wrote about her 13-year-old son (at the time) as she captured the precious moment.
Earlier in 2018, Victoria let the world know that her sun was a promising singer as he performed one of his own songs, comparing him again to the What Do You Mean? singer.
