Covid vaccine: People getting early second jab ‘want Delta variant protection’ – and to watch Euros safely
The i says people who took part in the Government’s “Grab a Jab” scheme to get their second Covid vaccine dose early have said that waiting up to three months for a second jab feels too late to get protection against the Delta variant.
In addition to encouraging all over 18s to get a first vaccine, some of the pop-up vaccination sites including London’s Science Museum and the Emirates Stadium offered a second dose to anyone who had been jabbed at least 21 days previously.
