Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) are devastated in this week’s Coronation Street as they discover Paul Foreman’s (Peter Ash) plan to end his life.
Recently, Paul asked Abi (Sally Carman) to source some drugs that he could use as part of his assisted dying plan. Abi helped Paul but when Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) learnt of his husband’s decision, he was horrified.
Billy tried to talk Paul out of it but he wasn’t successful. Eventually, after listening to Paul talk about how he wanted to have a choice, and not feel trapped in his own body, Billy swore on the Bible and agreed to help him end his life when the time comes.
Coming up, Paul gets a distraction when he agrees to a night in the old motorhome with Bernie and Gemma.

They set off, but soon enough Bernie pulls over in a layby, pulls out a road atlas and realises she’s a little bit lost.

Back in Weatherfield, Billy tries to call Paul. He’s worried about where he’s got to, but remains unaware Paul doesn’t have any signal on his phone.
