What’s happened? (Picture: ITV)
A few months ago in Coronation Street, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) met Eliza’s (Savannah Kunyo) biological father Dom.
After initial fears that Dom was bad news, Stu decided to let him see Eliza because of how much she wanted to get to know him.
Sadly, Dom certainly isn’t going to win the award for Father of the Year, as he has let Eliza down multiple times.
After Stu expressed his thoughts on Dom, it upset Eliza and she decided to move in with her Dad permanently.
A determined Stu then contacted a private investigator, hoping he’d find something on Dom to use against him in the hope Eliza would return home.

Coming up, the PI informs Stu that she’s had no luck finding any dirt on Dom.
After telling her to carry on searching, Stu welcomes Eliza over for her tea.
As they eat, Eliza ends up admitting that she was given detention for falling asleep in class having stayed up all night watching a horror movie, which leaves Stu furious.
Later in the week, Stu and Yasmeen (Shelley King) are concerned to see Eliza sporting a black eye.

Eliza explains that she took a hit during a Taekwondo class but it’s nothing to worry about.
However, with Stu concerned, social worker Felicity pops by to talk to Eliza.
