Bully Mason (Luca Toolan) continues with his hateful behaviour in upcoming Coronation Street episodes, and once again it’s Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) who bears the brunt of his behaviour.
Liam McCheyne told us that Dylan is very vulnerable to Mason’s bad influence on him.
‘I do think it’s a balance of both wanting to fit in and being scared of him,’ he said. ‘He wants to fit in with the cool kids and be like them. He doesn’t want to be what he was in London – it’s a total change to who he previously was. It’s almost like a new start for him and he can have a bit of freedom so I think that would make him very easily influenced.
‘I think Dylan is very naive in what he’s going into. I think Sean realises how dangerous Mason’s influence is but Dylan ignores him quite a lot. Mason isn’t a true friend to Dylan, but as I’ve said he’s very easily influenced so I don’t think he realises what he’s getting himself into.’

Mason has previously managed to bully Dylan into trying vapes and got him to break into the empty Rovers Return.

Dylan’s sexuality has also been a target of Mason’s taunts, with the bully making homophobic remarks about Dylan and his gay dad Sean. Like all bullies Mason has a sense of what his victims’ weak spots are and in episodes to be aired soon he embarrasses Dylan over his sexuality again.
