In tonight’s episode of Coronation Street, Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) locks horns with his mother, Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) over her plans to marry serial killer Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
Tim believes that Stephen will break his mother’s heart, however, viewers know that Stephen poses a much bigger threat than that, having murdered three people.
After the argument, Elaine agrees to fly out to Las Vegas that afternoon for the wedding.
Tim’s wife, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dyvenor) is in shock at the news and rushes to tell Tim.
Tim then offers to drop Elaine and Stephen at the airport, making out he accepts their marriage plans.
He lures his mother into his taxi and, leaving Stephen behind, speeds off with Elaine a hostage in his car.
Will Tim be able to put a stop to Elaine and Stephen’s wedding?

Elsewhere on the street, Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) introduces flatmate Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) to Trish, a woman she met online who lost her husband to motor neurone diesease (MND).
Trish descibes the stages MND to Paul and tells him what he can expect, following his diagnosis.
Dee-Dee encoruages Paul to tell partner Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) about his condition, but is he going to listen to her?
In other scenes airing tonight Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) worries about Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) getting closer to her husband Adam (Sam Robertson) following Sarah and Damon’s affair.
Adam books a table at the bistro for his birthday and, when Damon offers to throw in a bottle of Champagne, will Sarah be able to mask her unease?

Elsewhere on the cobbles, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) gets on the bus to visit a friend from uni.
However, when a man sits next to her, she has a panic attack and orders the bus to pull over.
Meanwhile, rapist Aaron Sandford (James Craven) finds out from his dad Eric (Craig Cheetham) that his nan has died and Eric insists that he would like to take him and Abi Webster (Sally Carman) out to dinner.

In the Rovers, Brian Packham (Peter Gunn) reveals that he enjoys maing model boats and offers to help George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) with his.
At No.11 Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) finds George and Brian working on their ships, and grows annoyed when she realises that the pair have accidentally glued her favourite mug to the table.
