Ryan receives a visitor after being told that his skin graft was a success (Picture: ITV)
Coronation Street lines up another highly emotional episode tonight (Friday April 21), as Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) receives big news from the doctor about his skin graft.
The DJ was injured in an acid attack earlier this month, stepping in to protect Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) from stalker Justin Rutherford (Andrew Still), who has made her life a living hell.
Ryan refused to look at his injuries at first, but earlier this week he did so with Carla Connor (Alison King) by his side, before being notified by doctors that he would need a skin graft, as he wasn’t healing like they had anticipated.
The skin graft proves successful, with tonight’s offering of the ITV soap seeing him told that he’s free to go home. Carla accompanies him to the hospital canteen, where a group of nurses are giggling nearby, leaving Ryan worried that they’re laughing at him.
Upon returning to his room, Ryan is confronted by a little girl who runs into his room chasing her ball, before staring at his face, full of curiosity. Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) then stops by, but Ryan tells her that he wants to be alone.
Faye Windass (Ellie Leach), meanwhile, finds herself with a big decision to make, as Jackson Hodge, who she kissed earlier this week, asks her to move down south with him after he secures a new job.
Craig pops the question (Picture: ITV)
To complicate matters further, Beth Tinker (Lisa George) invites her to Victoria Gardens, where Craig (Colson Smith) gets down on one knee, popping the question.
Will Faye stay and marry Craig? Or will she go? Decisions, decisions.

Elsewhere on the cobbles during the episode in question, Stu Carpenter (Bill Fellows) organises an interview for Eliza at Oakhill, but subsequently gets in touch with Weatherfield High instead after Eliza explains that Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) has filled her in on what the school is like.
Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) takes a call from his MD specialist, but kills the phone call when Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) return home, Kirk Sutherland (Andrew Whyment) tells Beth it’s too little too late after she reveals she doesn’t intend on seeing Marco again and Aaron Sandford (James Craven) invites himself along to Nina Lucas’ (Mollie Gallagher) 21st birthday party.
Coronation Street continues Friday April 20 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
