Meanwhile, Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) finds himself in serious peril as a fire takes hold at the builder’s yard.

He finds himself trapped as the flames close in – is there any way out, or is he doomed?

In the school corridor, Dylan asks Mason if he plans to return Liam’s phone but Mason laughs and tells Dylan that if Liam turns up for their meeting, he’s a dead man. After overhearing the conversation, Liam stares Mason out and promises he’ll be there.

Dylan warns Liam not to meet Mason, but Liam’s adamant that it’s time he stood up to him. As Liam approaches Mason and his mates, he overhears Dylan referring to him as a loser. Goaded by Mason, Liam rams Dylan up against a wall and as Mrs Crawshaw appears, Dylan falls to the ground.

Bernie calls at the flower shop flat and orders Moses to enjoy some time off while she looks after Paul. Bernie sets about cleaning the flat for Paul but when she opens the cupboard concealing his stash of Benzo tablets, Paul pales. Will Bernie find the tablets? #

Chesney apologises to Gemma again but pointing out that Joseph should be his priority, Gemma urges Chesney to talk to him.

Chesney visits Joseph and assures him that he loves him and will always believe him in future. Joseph forgives his Dad and they share an emotional hug.

In the corner shop flat, Dee-Dee puts pressure on Ed to start tackling his debts.

When Gary reveals that Liam is being bullied at school and Dylan is ignoring him, Sean scoffs, but George silences him with a look.

In the factory, Bobby enjoys winding Simon up but Carla orders them back to work. Carla tells Simon and Bobby that she wants them to meet in the bistro for some team bonding and the first round is on her.

Bernie, Gemma and Paul are stuck in a motorhome (Picture: ITV)

Bernie is thrilled as Paul and Gemma reluctantly agree to a night in the dilapidated motorhome. Paul and Gemma suspect Bernie is lost as she stops in a layby and pulls out a road atlas and share worried looks between them as they discover there’s no phone signal. Billy tries in vain to call Paul, worried where he might have got to.

Bernie stops the motorhome in the middle of a field and admits she’s no idea of the way to the campsite.

She starts the engine, only to discover they’re stuck in the mud. Alone in the flat and unable to get hold of Paul, Billy looks in the kitchen cupboard and is horrified to discover the Benzo tablets missing.

Paul’s phone finally leaps into life and Gemma answers to hear Billy begging Paul not to take the drugs as it’s too soon. Will Paul come clean to Bernie and Gemma about his end of life plan?

Dee-Dee tells Ed that it’s time he moved back home, but when Dee-Dee urges Michael to bury the hatchet with Ed and allow him to move back home, he declares if Ed moves back in he’ll move out.

As Dee-Dee pleads Ed’s case to Michael, they’re interrupted by a loud knocking at the door.  Dee-Dee and Michael are shocked to find two bailiffs on the doorstep.

Making it clear to Gary that he’s done enough damage, Maria sets off to the police station with Liam.

Sean rails at Gary and tells him he’s glad he reported Liam to the police as bullies need to be punished. In the police station, Maria assures Liam that everything will be fine if he tells the truth.

Chucking it back at him, Tracy tells Steve she wants their bedroom redecorating and he can start today.

When Tracy moans to Mary about lazy Steve and how she doubts he’ll ever get round to the decorating, Mary suggests she should hire a professional.

In the factory, Max agrees to update the website for Carla. Spotting Simon, Max heads over and warns him to stay away from Sabrina as she’s already spoken for.

Bobby takes Lauren for a drink in the Rovers and tells Carla and Simon that while she says she only wants to be mates, that’ll soon change.
