Isla and Asha get drunk at the Bistro (Picture: ITV)
Poor Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) has been left wondering what the future holds in Coronation Street as Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) continues to spend time with her colleague Isla.
Asha’s paramedic training has seen her connect with Isla, an experienced member of the force who has plenty of amazing stories to tell.
While Asha has loved telling Nina about Isla, she hasn’t really taken into consideration that constantly talking about someone else is making Nina feel jealous.
Recently, when Nina returned home drunk, she tried to seduce Asha, who was sitting on the sofa watching TV.

Tired from another shift, Asha wasn’t in the mood, which caused Nina to feel hurt.
Coming up, Asha meets up with Isla to study but is confused when Isla says she’d rather spend the day getting drunk.
While at the Bistro, Isla tells Asha that her boyfriend is pestering her but she’s gone off men and thinking of trying women instead.

‘I think she’s so overwhelmed and so excited, she sort of idolises Isla, in a way. Asha wants to be her. Asha wants to know everything she knows, do everything she does sort of thing.’
‘At first I don’t think she does step aside and think “Is Nina taking this the wrong way?” because she’s just so infatuated with the job itself. I don’t think that even comes across her mind at all.’
