Abi sees a familiar face (Picture: ITV)
Abi Webster (Sally Carman) is once again reminded of her traumatic past in Coronation Street soon as she comes across a drug dealer called Dean.
We first met Dean last year, shortly after Kevin (Michael Le Vell) discovered that Abi had slept with Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo).
After speeding off together in a stolen car from the garage, Dean left Abi on a country road and when she started experiencing pain, she called 999 and revealed that she was in labour.
Abi then gave birth to baby Alfie, but didn’t get full custody of him for months as she had to prove to social services that she was well enough to look after him and wasn’t at risk of returning to drugs.

Dean arrived back on the cobbles a few weeks ago, meeting up with Cassie to confront her about the money she owes him.
He attacked Cassie which was spotted by Michael (Ryan Russell), who decided it would be best if Cassie got checked out at A&E.
When Cassie returned with a bandage on her arm, she chose to lie to Tyrone (Alan Halsall), telling him that she hurt herself while running for a bus instead of being honest and admitting that she had seen a drug dealer.
Coming up, as Cassie arrives at the garage for her first day at work, Tyrone thanks Kev for giving her a chance.
But as she sweeps the forecourt, Dean approaches demanding more drug money.
Keeping things on the downlow, Cassie promises to pay him by the end of the day and hisses at him to leave.

Watching the interaction is Abi, who recognises Dean and wonders what’s going on.
Later, when Cassie then refuses to go for lunch and makes out that she’s waiting for a customer, Abi nips back to find Cassie helping herself to the petty cash.
Trouble continues later in the week, as Cassie pops several pills after meeting up with Dean on a street corner.

Meanwhile, when Michael lets slip how he saw a bloke roughing up Cassie last week, Abi is forced to confirm that Dean is a drug dealer and caught Cassie trying to steal money.
As a search gets underway, it’s Hope (Isabella Flanagan) who finds Cassie slumped on the pavement after taking an overdose.
An ambulance is called, but will Cassie pull through?
