An emotional week lies ahead in Coronation Street, with big decisions and discoveries on the cards (Picture: ITV)

Coronation Street dishes up another action-packed week for the residents of the cobbles, with big decisions and love declarations on the cards.

Max Turner (Paddy Bever) receives a visit from a concerned David Platt (Jack P Shepherd), who urges him to look to the future, before reaffirming his love for his son in emotional scenes.

Faye Windass (Ellie Leach), meanwhile, has a big decision to make between the men in her life, but will Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) discover that she’s harbouring feelings for her ex Jackson Hodge?

Elsewhere, Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) makes a big decision after some advice from Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson).

Fancy a first look at what’s coming up?

We’ve got three little clips to tide you over until our next visit to the cobbles, previewing all of the above events.

The fallout of this week’s developments, as ever, continue into the next, and with so many questions left unanswered, here are some brand new spoiler clips.

Amy writes down her thoughts about Aaron, believing that she will never post it. Steve, however, asks her if she’s found it helpful and when she admits that she has, he encourages her to publish it.

Subsequent scenes will see Amy do just that, with Aaron losing his job as a result. Eric, meanwhile, shows up on her doorstep, revealing that he’s suing her for what she’s written, with Tracy and Steve determined to support their daughter all the way.

David turns up at the STC to see Max, worried that he’s not going to show up. Max, however, arrives late with tears in his eyes and he breaks down, admitting that he doesn’t know who he is anymore as he goes over everything that happened with Griff.

David, however, is quick to remind him that he was groomed, reiterating that he’s got his whole life ahead of him. Max wants to know why David is determined to keep coming to see him, with David responding by telling him that he loves him.

Faye meets with Jackson at the furniture shop, telling him that they’re not compatible. Jackson, however, begs to differ, telling Faye that she drives him ‘crazy’ and he ‘can’t handle’ being around her. This revelation stuns Faye, who reveals that she can’t imagine anyone ever feeling like that about her, as they share a moment.

Craig, meanwhile, is on the hunt for Faye, and finds her at the furniture shop, as Jackson hides out of sight. Craig, however, picks up that something isn’t quite right. Will he discover the truth?

Coronation Street airs these scenes between Monday, May 15 and Friday, May 19 at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
