We didn’t expect this! (Picture: ITV)
When Max Turner (Paddy Bever) was first released from the STC in Coronation Street, he decided to find Bec (Luana Santos), Gav’s (Noah Olaoye) girlfriend.
He found someone who claimed to be Bec but in Monday’s (June 26) episode, we discovered she was hiding quite an important secret.
In the precinct, Max was stunned when Gav approached, revealing that he was also now out of the STC.
He quickly revealed his plans to propose to Bec which caused Max’s anxiety to grow, as Bec had seemingly made it perfectly clear that she didn’t want to be with Gav anymore – she wanted to be with Max.
When Gav discovered this, he grabbed Max and went to attack him.

However, when the newcomer called down from the flats, Gav laughed when Max addressed her as Bec.
Revealing the truth, Gav confirmed that she isn’t Bec – she’s actually Sabrina, his sister.
As Sabrina explained what she had been up to, Max was shocked by her behaviour, but she then put Max in his place by telling Gav that he was behind bars for his involvement in a right-wing gang.

After Max revealed more about his involvement in Griff’s (Michael Condron) gang and how he isolated him from his friends and family, Sabrina decided that she’s going to help Max change and gave him another chance.
But unbeknownst to Max, he will have another problem to face soon.
As he kissed Bec outside the house, he failed to spot Lauren (Cait Fitton) in the distance.
Lauren and Max met each other while in Griff’s gang and started a relationship, but could Max find himself caught between her and Sabrina as she returns to Weatherfield?
‘I think she’s definitely changed’, Cait Fitton said.

‘She’s been through so many things within the last six months and before, when we saw her. I think as human beings ourselves we go through these experiences, and it changes us as people; and I think she just wants to be accepted now, she wants to be taken away of what she was known for, or what her dad was known for and she just wants to be herself, but she can’t do that on her own.
‘So that’s why I think the acceptance for Lauren is such a big thing, and to build bridges with people, and she’s willing to show everybody that she has changed, she’ll do whatever she can to show people she’s changed.’
