Metro – Cops probe new Brand sex claim

Following a TV investigation that was aired over the weekend, the Metro reports that a woman has reported Russell Brand to the police over an alleged sexual assault in London’s Soho which occurred in 2003.

The paper notes that, at the time of the alleged assault in 2003, Brand was a “rising stand-up star who had finished treatment for drink and drug addiction” but that within a year he had shot to fame.
