HRH Prince Charles had a detailed conversation with Prime Minister Imran Khan, a statement by the British High Commission said.
According to the statement, the two “reaffirmed the close and unique bonds between commonwealth nations with the 1.6 million diasporas at the heart of the relationship”.

The statement said that with less than a week to go until the UN Conference on Climate Change in Glasgow, His Royal Highness and PM Imran Khan “agreed on the need for greater global cooperation at COP26 and protecting the environment”.
The Prince of Wales congratulated the prime minister of Pakistan as an example on tackling the climate crisis including the 10 billion tree tsunami initiative, it said further.
“Reiterating the international community’s desire to see stability in Afghanistan, The Prince of Wales also noted Pakistan’s key role in the region,”.
The Queen has pulled out of hosting a major reception for world leaders at the Cop26 summit, Buckingham Palace has confirmed.
The 95-year-old monarch was due to travel to Scotland for the high-profile engagement on Monday 1 November.
The United Kingdom will be hosting COP26 for the world leaders at the climate summit next week in Glasgow.
