Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has been left devastated after finding out he may lose some of his herd.
The farmer, who was enlisted by Jeremy Clarkson to help work the land on his Diddly Squat property in Oxfordshire, has appeared on the reality TV series following their efforts over the past few years.
With a smallholding of around four acres not far from where he works with the former Top Gear presenter, Kaleb, 25, has previously spoken about his dreams to own his own property one day.
However, his plans hit a heartbreaking roadblock this week after finding out a herd of dairy cows he’d recently purchased had a respiratory disease that had forced some to be slaughtered.
Sharing a video on Instagram, Kaleb shared the news with his two million followers.
‘Now today’s a bit stressful. I’ve just found out the place where I have my dairy cows – the 21 cows that I bought – has got three reactors to TB,’ he began.

Fighting back tears, he let out a huge sigh before he continued: ‘I don’t really know how to describe the emotion. I know I mean it’s not all my cows and I don’t know how he [the other owner] feels – but it’s hard’.
‘It’s not good. Three reactors, so therefore we’ve got to test again in two months’ time. That’s three cows we’ve lost that are milking.’
Visibly shaken by the situation, the farmer then let out another huge exhale before the video ended.
Bovine TB is a respiratory disease caused by bacteria that can be transmitted through nose-to-nose contact or contact with saliva, urine, faeces and milk.

As well as infecting each other, the disease can be passed on to humans.
Cattle who contract it are usually slaughtered.
The young farmer will now have to wait and see if the infection spreads to his other cows before determining what will happen to the herd.
His post comes after Jeremy also expressed his own frustration with what was happening on his own farm after two men made away with goods from the Diddly Squat shop this week.
Sharing CCTV footage of the offenders on social media, Jeremy slammed them for their sticky fingers, labelling the one that could be seen on screen as a ‘cu..’ and saying he would like to ‘meet’ the pair who stole from his business.
Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Prime Video.
