Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen returned to first team training today after being sidelined for the last month.
The Denmark skipper has missed the last four weeks of action after pulling up during the 1-0 win against Luton Town at Old Trafford in mid-November.
Erik ten Hag has had limited options in midfield, with Mason Mount and Casemiro also injured at this time.
Scott McTominay, Sofyan Amrabat and Kobbie Mainoo started in United’s midfield at Anfield on Sunday to underline the lack of options available to Ten Hag.
But Eriksen was spotted participating in training on Monday morning alongside players that did not start at Anfield.

It’s a major boost to United, who can expect to have the midfielder available for Saturday’s trip to West Ham.
Casemiro is back to individual training, while Lisandro Martinez is also back on the grass. Neither player is expected back in 2023, however.
United take on West Ham at the London Stadium on Saturday before hosting Aston Villa on Boxing Day.
