Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic is refusing to join Lyon and is holding out for a move to AC Milan, according to reports.
The United States international is one of several players leaving Stamford Bridge this summer having struggled to make an impact last season.
Pulisic is not short of offers and AC Milan submitted a £12 million bid for the 24-year-old, who has just a year left on his deal with Chelsea.
However, Lyon entered the race with a significantly better proposal as they are willing to pay Chelsea a £21.5m fee, which includes performance-related add-ons.
But according to MailOnline, Pulisic has told Chelsea that he will not join Lyon and is intent on moving to AC Milan.
The report claims that Pulisic has made it clear that Lyon is not an option for him this summer, regardless of their offer.

Meanwhile, The Athletic reports that Chelsea would be ‘reluctant’ to let Pulisic leave for lower than Lyon’s £21.5m offer.
Pulisic was signed in a £57.6m deal from Borussia Dortmund in 2019 but after an impressive debut season the winger has found it difficult to establish a regular starting role.
Speaking last month during his time with the United States national side, Pulisic made it clear that he wants to leave Chelsea this summer.
‘It’s absolutely a time where I need to figure out what’s going to be best for my future and be somewhere where I can go and play and be trusted and feel good in what I’m doing,’ Pulisic told ESPN.
‘I want to find that joy at club level again, for sure.’
