Chelsea are eying a move for Ukraine international striker Artem Dovbyk amid his glowing form for Girona in La Liga, according to reports.
The Blues are keen to bolster their attacking options in the January transfer window and have placed Dovbyk high on their wishlist, The Sun have reported.
Dovbyk’s incredible performances have helped Girona stun their La Liga rivals this term, with the side currently sat in second, above Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
The 26-year-old, who would reportedly cost £39m, has registered 11 goals and five assists across 17 games in the Spanish top-flight this season.
Dovbyk moved to Girona this summer from Dnipro-1 and is under contract until 2028.
He has been capped 23 times for the Ukraine national team, producing seven goals.
Mauricio Pochettino has sent scouts to watch Dovbyk in the recent weeks – and with the Argentine concerned over the lack of height in his current squad – the striker’s 6ft 2in physical profile could help fix that issue.

Dovbyk has the same agent as Chelsea star Mykhailo Mudryk and the pair are thought to be very close friends who talk every day.
It is believed that Pochettino wants Dovbyk to compete with Nicolas Jackson for the No.9 role.
Meanwhile, the possible arrival of Dovbyk would likely see an exit for Chelsea star Armando Broja, who is looking for more regular playing time.
