Chelsea co-owner runs away from fans after confronting players in dressing room following defeat to Aston Villa
The Metro says Chelsea co-owner Behdad Eghbali was spotted running away from angry fans following Sunday’s 1-0 home defeat to Aston Villa.
Eghbali, in charge of the club alongside Todd Boehly, is said to have entered the players’ dressing room to address the squad after another poor performance from the Blues, a result which saw them booed off the pitch by their own supporters.
After the match, a clip of Eghbali went viral on social media with some Chelsea fans seen running after him and demanding answers.
Eghbali was seen rushing into the back of a black car, helped by a security guard.
