Capaldi has announced a major tour for 2026, including a headline slot at BST Hyde Park, marking a significant comeback after overcoming personal challenges.
Lewis Capaldi treated All Bar One punters to an intimate performance following his O2 Arena gig earlier this week.
The Someone You Loved hitmaker, 28, has made a sparkling return to the spotlight since he stepped back from performing following his difficult Glastonbury gig in 2023.
Having made a surprise emotional return to Worthy Farm in June, Lewis has just performed a handful of nights at the iconic London venue.
Metro gave Lewis’ grand comeback 4.5 stars, and described his show as a ‘testament to resilience’ leaving no dry eyes in the house.
But while 20,000 people filed out of the O2 and shuffled to North Greenwich tube station, some stayed behind for a drink or two at the venue’s All Bar One.
Little did those lucky few know Lewis would saunter into that very same bar with his security team to join them, performing an intimate gig to revellers including his new track Something in the Heavens.

It was quite the way to end his O2 residency, marking his huge comeback after taking time away to work on his health.
Thankfully it appears Lewis is better, as it’s full steam ahead with the announcement of his biggest tour to date including a BST Hyde Park headline slot for 2026.
Referencing the outdoor London festival on Instagram, the Scottish singer commented on his post announcing the tour: ‘65,000 a night at some of these 😭❤️ thank you all so much x.’
Despite this flex, Lewis still seems the same humble Scottish lad, as he was also seen taking the tube to his final O2 gig. Casual.
Lewis took two years away from music when he was left unable to sing while performing on the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage in 2023 due to his Tourette’s syndrome.
An emotional moment saw the crowd belt out the lyrics to Somebody You Love when Lewis couldn’t continue.
Lewis’ current tour kicked off in September at Sheffield Arena, with the singer taking on his first headline performance in two years and speaking to fans about how moved he was by the moment.
‘It’s quite overwhelming after all that time off, it genuinely means the world,’ he said.

‘I’m genuinely still humbled this is still a possibility for me,’ he said as reported by The i Paper.
In a statement shared on Instagram after his Pyramid Stage appearance in 2023, the Wish You The Best singer said: ‘Hello everyone. First of all, thank you to Glastonbury for having me, for singing along when I needed it and for all the amazing messages afterwards. It really does mean the world.
The musician continued: ‘The fact that this probably won’t come as a surprise doesn’t make it any easier to write, but I’m very sorry to let you know I’m going to be taking a break from touring for the foreseeable future.’
Concluding his heartfelt statement, Lewis said: ‘I’m so incredibly sorry to everyone who had planned to come to a show before the end of the year but I need to feel well to perform at the standard you all deserve.
‘Playing for you every night is all I’ve ever dreamed of so this has been the most difficult decision of my life. I’ll be back as soon as I possibly can. All my love, always, Lewis x.’
Lewis’ health struggles didn’t come out of nowhere for fans, as two months before he walked off the Pyramid Stage the singer released a Netflix documentary all about it called How I’m Feeling Now.
In his original social media video in 2022 announcing his Tourette’s diagnosis, Lewis said: ‘I’ve always had it, apparently. The worst thing about it is when I’m excited I get it, when I’m stressed, I get it, when I’m happy I get it.
‘It happens all the time. Some days it’s more painful than others and some days it’s less painful.’
He added that ‘It looks a lot worse than it is’ and while tics can be ‘quite uncomfortable’, the physical symptoms ‘come and go’.
On The Zach Sang Show Lewis shared when he was first experiencing the tics, he thought he was ‘immediately dying’.
‘When they told me, I was like, ‘That makes so much sense,’” he said. ‘It ebbs and flows… Unfortunately, there’s no clear “here’s this thing we can do nothing about.” But now it’s about handling my general anxiety.’
