Chappell Roan has playfully called out a fan after catching them mid-yawn during a recent concert.
The chart-topping American musician, 27, was performing her hit song California when she appeared to spot an audience member yawning.
After describing the moment as ‘insane,’ she continued to tease the sleepy fan during a rendition of Pink Pony Club.
The moment in question came as part of her Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour, which has seen the singer perform at venues in New York, Kansas City and California.
Chappell was reportedly performing on the first night at Forest Hills Stadium in New York when she caught the offending audience member yawning.
The playful exchange was subsequently captured and shared on Tik Tok, X and Instagram.

‘I just saw someone yawn. That’s insane,’ said Chappell, as she paused, partway through her 2023 song California.
In a second video clip, Chappell was mid-delivery of Pink Pony Club when she addressed the moment again.
‘B***h, don’t yawn,’ she joked, before jumping straight into the song’s already-iconic chorus.
Fans in the comments below these clips saw the funny side, with fondueherz writing: ‘As an elder millennial, I get it, concerts start too late, I wanna be in bed by 10pm.’
‘Girl some of us are 30,’ agreed introvert.explorer.
‘Chappell caught that yawn like a hawk 😭 girl said NOT during Pink Pony Club…’ quipped Pratapzee, on X.
Jynx_Defi said: ‘That’s peak Chappell energy and I love her for it.’
Chappell may be keeping busy with her tour, but she doesn’t seem to have plans for a follow-up album anytime soon.
‘The second project doesn’t exist yet,’ she told Vogue, earlier this year.
‘There is no album. There is no collection of songs. It took me five years to write the first one, and it’s probably going to take at least five to write the next.’

Last year, the HOT TO GO! hitmaker described her debut as ‘one of the best record deals ever in modern music.’
Speaking to THE FACE she continued: “Fk you guys, give me what I want or I’m going to do this myself.”’
‘Now I can be like, “Look at the numbers, b***h.’

Chappell – real name Kayleigh Rose Amstutz – has become known for her outspoken approach following her stratospheric rise to fame.
This included an explosive confrontation at last year’s VMAs, in which she put a boundary-crossing photographer in their place.
As Chappell posed for pictures, a male photographer could be heard telling her to ‘shut the f**k up.’
She responded by pointing a finger and clapping back: ‘No, you shut the f**k up.’ Flourishing her extra-long nails, she added: ‘No, not me b***h.’
Cross at your peril.
