Star Sport – Champions League returns: Bayern for Blood
The back page of the Daily Star reports on Manchester United’s upcoming Champions League match against Bayern Munich in Germany on Wednesday. Bayern’s star player – England’s captain Harry Kane has spoken to the media about the upcoming clash, which the paper predicts will highlight how big Manchester United’s problems really are.
The back page also has plenty of coverage of the opening Champions League matches yesterday which included the defender champs Manchester City winning 3-1 and Newcastle old AC Milan to a 0-0 draw – it was the Toon’s first appearance in the CL in 20 years.
Will United be able to best Bayern? The Star doesn’t seem to think so.
