Good Morning Britain weather presenter Alex Beresford and his dad Noel have been crowned the winners of Celebrity Race Across the World.
The reality show spin-off series saw Alex and Noel compete against other stars and their family members as they travelled over 6,200 miles across 24 countries.
The other contestants included former All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and her mother, Helene; McFly drummer Harry Judd and his mother, Emma and former British F4 Racing Driver Billy Monger and his sister, Bonny.
However, when it came to the final checkpoint in Tromso, Norway, it was Alex and Noel who managed to make it there first and secure the title.
Fighting off tough competition from the other two pairs, the duo were the first to arrive at Tromso’s Fjellheisen cable car Observation Deck.
Harry and Emma followed just four minutes behind, putting them in second place, while Melanie and Helene came in third.

After opening the guest book to discover they had reached Norway in first place, the competitive father and son duo were overcome with elation.
Jumping up and down and cheering, Alex exclaimed ‘yes dad, we did it!’ before sharing a tearful embrace with Noel.
Reflecting on their victory, which saw them kicking off the journey in Marrakesh, Alex said it felt like they were ‘on top of the world right now’.
Meanwhile his dad added: ‘It was something else. Alex kept saying to me, “come on dad, come on dad” and I said “I’m right behind you!”. He just kept pulling me along and it’s all worth it now!’

Reflecting on what they had achieved, Alex said it was the ‘toughest experience I’ve ever had’.
‘But we got to travel together, as men, and that isn’t something that every father and son get to do, and for me, that’s why this has been unforgettable and something that I will cherish for the rest of our lives,’ he added.
After just missing out on the win by a few minutes, Harry congratulated the winners before saying he and his mum had given it their ‘all’.
‘We were so close, but we gave it our all. We left it all out there… It doesn’t matter about position. I’m so proud of mum, what she did was incredible,’ he said.
Emma then shared: ‘I said to Harry at the beginning of this race, “I’m not going to let you down son” and hopefully I didn’t!”
After arriving in third place, Mel and Helene said: ‘We finished, and that’s the most important thing. No regrets.’

During the nail-biting final episode, Alex and Noel began the final leg in the lead, despite having never previously reached a checkpoint in pole position.
Beginning at Berlin’s Brandenburg Gate with more than 2,000km to the finish line in Tromsp, the father and son decided to travel via Sweden where they stopped off in Stockholm to replenish their dwindling budget by working to shovel snow at one of Sweden’s lakeside saunas.
During their final work shift, Alex reflected on his experience during the race and said it had allowed him to ‘let his hair down’ after never having taken this much time off work.
He also addressed his infamous 2021 on-screen clash with former GMB colleague Piers Morgan ahead of the win, explaining how what happened was a ‘shock to the system’ and how finding himself ‘in the centre of a media storm’ had been ‘crazy’.
‘You suddenly become subject to lots of opinion from social media and you either fold or you stand up and grow a thick skin. It knocked me a little bit but I definitely feel stronger having gone through it,’ he shared.

After travelling from Sweden to Finland in order for Alex to fulfil a childhood dream of visiting Lapland, they continued on to Norway, where found themselves on the same bus from Narvik to Tromsø as Harry and Emma.
Meanwhile, Mel and Helene travelled on a fast highway towards the Norwegian boarder, unaware their fellow teams had ended up neck and neck.
After a 233km journey of winding roads, the two leading teams began an epic foot race to the finish line, before each deciding to make use of a bus and a passing car to speed things up.
Once reaching The Arctic Cathedral they had to take a cable car up to the Observation Deck where they were all greeted by the finish line.
Celebrity Race Across the World is streaming on BBC iPlayer.
