Celebrity MasterChef has unveiled the finalists hoping to be crowned champion.
After weeks of trying to impress judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode, the starry contestants have been whittled down to five, with Marcus Brigstocke narrowly missing out on a spot in the final.
He faced stiff competition from Love Island’s Luca Bish, Emmerdale actress Amy Walsh, popstar Jamelia, The Wanted’s Max George, and broadcaster Wynne Evans, who make up the finalist line-up.
However, the five remaining cooks are still a way off the finishing line as they will continue to battle it out in the kitchen over the course of next week.
Challenges will include the most daunting cook-off to date, with the finalists travelling to East Sussex to cook a very special lunch in a kitchen like no other in the first round.
Guided by chef Nick Weston, the fivesome must only use open flame to make a three-course lunch for 20 of the country’s top Scouts, who are out on the South Downs completing their survival badge.

Then, it’s back to the MasterChef kitchen, where the final five must each create one exceptional dish inspired by somebody they admire.
The celebrities must do justice to that special person, as well as impress John and Gregg by showing creativity, skill, flair and determination to remain in the competition.
For the cook who doesn’t make the grade, their time will be over and the remaining four cooks take a step closer to being crowned 2023 Celebrity MasterChef champion. The heat is on.
