A boat carrying migrants sank near the Greek island of Gavdos, resulting in one confirmed death and 25 individuals missing. The Greek coastguard has rescued 51 people from the water and is continuing search efforts despite challenging weather conditions. The rescued migrants will be taken to Crete.
