Prince William has pulled out of attending a memorial service for his late godfather due to an undisclosed personal matter.

His sudden death on Sunday evening at the age of 45 plunged the Royal Family into a state of shock.

He had been trying to overturn a ruling which saw his security downgraded after he stopped being a working royal.

Several of the right-leaning newspapers note the death of 45-year-old Thomas Kingston, who was the husband of Lady Gabriella Kingston and son-in-law of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Emergency services were called, but he was pronounced dead by London Ambulance Service at the scene.

Police believe Lilly-Marie Hollins, 13, from East Malling and Jazmyn Mansfield, 17, from Barming – both villages on the outskirts of Maidstone – may be in the same place.
