A Russian warship conducted a live-fire artillery exercise 40 miles off Plymouth’s coast, monitored by the Royal Navy. The Russian frigate Neustrashimy notified HMS Tyne of its intentions before the 30-minute operation, which required the patrol vessel to maintain a safer distance.
The childhood home of David Bowie, located at 4 Plaistow Grove in Bromley, is set to open to the public in 2027 after being acquired by the Heritage of London Trust. The house will be restored to its original 1960s condition, showcasing the environment that influenced Bowie’s early musical development.

The advantage of coal is that it is very easy to transport, store and stockpile.
