Reece and Darrell Williams have been sentenced for a knife attack near King’s Cross station, with Reece receiving a life sentence of at least 12 years for grievous bodily harm. Darrell was sentenced to eight years as the getaway driver. The assault on their 27-year-old victim, captured on CCTV, was described as brutal and unprovoked.
A brass padlock from the 1583 shipwreck of the Ann Francis has been successfully decoded after over 400 years. Experts from Museum Wales and Cardiff University utilised a CT scan to reveal the combination ANCE, which corresponds with notches inside the lock, allowing a section to be extracted.
Adam Liaqat and Asad Khan have been sentenced to 15 and 13 years in prison, respectively, for their roles in a botched shooting on St Paul’s Road in Smethwick.
