Three fox cubs have been released into the wild after a rescue operation on Letchworth Road in Leicester, where they were found trapped between walls. The 12-week-old cubs were cared for at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital before their release, where they underwent support feeding to aid their adjustment.

Bereaved families have written to Justice Secretary Alex Norris, urging the government to prevent more killers from being released early under its current scheme.
