Protesters gathered for the National March for Palestine, organised by the Palestine Coalition, with clashes reported between demonstrators and counter-protesters. The Metropolitan Police had imposed restrictions to manage the event.

Joshua Kerry, 28, appeared at the Old Bailey charged with the murder of Ann Widdecombe and preparation of terrorist acts. The court heard he held extreme left-wing views and conducted nearly two years of research into political figures before allegedly attacking Widdecombe in her home on July 8, 2026.

A vessel, reportedly unlit and travelling at high speed, was observed on the River Thames near Isle of Dogs on Tuesday night. Emanuele Biasiol filmed the unidentified object creating a significant wash before contacting police. The Met’s terrorism squad has since sought further information.
