A man was arrested overnight after confronting Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor while he was walking dogs. The suspect, clad in a balaclava, faces charges for public order offences and possession of an offensive weapon.

Pupils from a Jewish school in London were reportedly targeted by a car that mounted the pavement yesterday afternoon. The incident is now under investigation by the Metropolitan Police as a suspected antisemitic attack.

Actress Doreen Mantle has died ‘peacefully at home’ aged 97, her agent has said.
She was known for her performance as Jean Warboys in the BBC comedy series One Foot In The Grave and had appearances in Doctors and Coronation Street.
Mantle also took to the stage in Death Of A Salesman for the National Theatre for which she took home an Olivier Award in 1979 for actress of the year in a supporting role.
