Ten of the 84 dogs rescued from a property in Tickhill, South Yorkshire, found to be living in unsanitary conditions, have now been rehomed. The dogs had to be rehabilitated and were discovered in a house covered in debris. Sentencing for three individuals responsible is scheduled for December 9.
Five men were arrested near RAF Fairford on suspicion of explosives offences after a suspected terror plot was intercepted. The suspects allegedly called police prior to their arrest, prompting an investigation into whether they were acting as proxies for Iran. No explosive devices were found, but petrol was recovered.
Joanne O’Keefe is raising £2,000 for a burial plot after repeated destruction of her son Alfie’s roadside memorial, following his hit-and-run death in November 2016. Learner driver Ali Bahramzadeh, uninsured and unlicensed, was jailed for a year for the incident.
