Yvonne Ford, 59, died from rabies following a minor scratch from a stray puppy during a holiday in Morocco. Initially dismissed as insignificant, the scratch prompted no medical consultation. After returning to the UK, her health rapidly declined, leading to her death on 11 June. Her family is now advocating for increased rabies awareness.
