Champions league football is the most prized trophy in European football. Each Year the tops teams from their leagues battle to lift the Champions League trophy.
The UEFA Champions League is an annual club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations and contested by top-division European clubs.
Deciding the competition winners through a round-robin group stage to qualify for a double-legged knockout format and a single-leg final. The final is held around iconic European stadiums.
The competition is played through most of the season, incorporating a winter break.

What leagues qualify for the Champions League?
The rules come into effect ahead of the 2018/19 Champions League, meaning the teams who finish in the top four in the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga will earn automatic qualification to the last 32. Winners of the previous season’s Champions League and Europa League will also be in the groups.

If a club wins the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League and finishes in the top four, their qualification for the UCL through their league position is not transferred to another team. A maximum of five Premier League teams are eligible for UEFA Champions League qualification.
