Lebanon, officially known as the Lebanese Republic, is a country in Western Asia. Lebanon is home to roughly six million people and is one of the smallest countries in the world, living under the constant threat of israel, who has repeatedly attacked and invaded the lands.
But curiously Lebanese people are known for their friendly culture and hospitality and as a population, they have a truly global footprint.
Lebanon is a developing country. The Lebanese liquidity crisis, corruption as well as recent events have precipitated the collapse of currency, political instability, widespread shortages, high unemployment and poverty.
Lebanese culture is renowned both in the Middle East and globally.
