Two UK hopsitals in Northamptonshire have declared “critical incidents” as NHS bosses have made an urgent please to patients.

Tyler Donnelly, 19, from Feltham, has been named by detectives as the victim.

Steven Hicks, 60, was one of the staff who regularly visited the woman, who was recovering from a fall.

Walk outs by various staff groups including doctors, nurses, paramedics and physiotherapists have led to more than 1.3 million appointments, procedures and operations being rescheduled.
