Carol Vorderman and Paul Burrell’s time in camp came to an end on I’m A Celebrity South Africa came to an end tonight, after the stars faced another survival trial, Vile Vineyard.
The former Countdown presenter, 62, and the royal butler, 64, narrowly missed out on a place in the final with Phill Tuffnell, Myleene Klass, Jordan Banjo and Fatima Whitbread remaining in the competition.
When hosts Ant and Dec asked about their experiences, Carol said: ‘It’s very different, because people have done it before so they’re more savvy about it. We’ll go back to a hotel and have champagne and lobster’
Paul added: ‘It has been life changing and a rollercoaster journey. It will stay with me for the rest of my days!’
Addressing her motherly figure in camp, the former game show host shared: ‘I think that’s just my nature. Fatima and I did a lot for camp. Fatima more physically but I wasn’t far behind as she will tell you.
‘We did a lot of the chores. Changing the toilet rolls, I did the cooking with Helen for nearly a week. We all watched each other’s backs.’

Paul, on the other hand, found the experience a lot more difficult a second time round.
‘I found them much tougher this time round than when I did it in 2004,’ he added.
‘The Trials now are fully advanced – much tougher. Listen, I’m 64 -years-old. Most of the campmates were nearly half my age and had much more stamina and strength than me. I found it tough this time being an older vintage than the rest of them.’
The latest eviction comes 24 hours after Helen Flangan and Dean Gaffney were given the boot.

Fans will have to wait for tomorrow’s episode as the final three will be revealed, and that decision will be made by the dumped celebrities.
The all-star revival was pre-recorded last year, meaning the result has already been determined and, like the duration of the series, no public vote will determine who is crowned the winner.
Instead, the leading celebrities will continue to partake in a series of challenges to compete to become the 2023 Legend.
Ant and Dec, as usual, will be on hand for the 90-minute episode before announcing the winner.
I’m a Celebrity… South Africa continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV1.
