Former Manchester United, Manchester City and West Ham star Carlos Tevez has been left with a 10-stitch wound after fainting and hitting his head, according to reports in Argentina.
The 39-year-old recently entered the world of management after his stellar playing career and is currently in charge of Argentine side Club Atletico Independiente.
It has been reported that Tevez fell in the bathroom of his house – but has since been discharged from hospital – and reunited with his Independiente squad before their Primera Division clash against Club Atletico Barracas Central.
Tevez’s assistant manager was forced to take training for Independiente on Wednesday after the incident but the former striker is now back in the dugout.
Tevez finished his playing career at his boyhood club Boca Juniors in 2021 and is currently in his second managerial role after a previous spell at Rosario Central.
He spent seven years playing in the Premier League between 2006 and 2013, arriving at West Ham before two loans at United and a permanent switch to City.
Tevez won two Premier League titles as well as the Champions League during his time at Old Trafford.
