Mikel Arteta has got an awful lot out of Bukayo Saka at Arsenal but warns their rivals that there is much more to come from the England winger.
The 21-year-old has been in sparkling form this season, scoring 12 Premier League goals as the Gunners sit comfortably at the top of the table.
Saka also produced a fabulous strike for the Three Lions as they beat Ukraine 2-0 at Wembley on Sunday to continue his remarkable form.
Arteta says the consistency Saka has shown this season for a player his age is rare, but also believes the youngster can do a lot better.
In a warning to rivals and possibly a message to the player himself, the Spaniard says there is significant room for improvement in his young star, despite what we have seen from him already.
‘Yes,’ Arteta told Sky Sports on whether Saka had room for improvement.
‘First of all, I think you have to recognise what he’s been doing. The consistency he’s shown at his age and at this level is something rare to see. He’s taken it with normality.

‘If you ask me if he has room for improvement, I would say: ‘Yes – a lot.’ He’s never satisfied, he always wants more and he can still do a lot of things better and more efficiently.’
Saka only has a little over a year left on his current Arsenal contract, but the club are desperate for him to sign a new deal and are willing to offer him huge terms.
