Buckingham Palace ‘must do more’ as data reveals just 8.5% of royal staff are from minority ethnic backgrounds
The i says Buckingham Palace has admitted it “must do more” to improve diversity after publishing data revealing that only 8.5 per cent of royal household staff are from a minority ethnic background.
The palace revealed in its annual accounts for 2020-2021 that fewer than one in 10 royal staff are from an ethnic minority background, compared to a national average of 13 per cent.
